The 2013 nomination period for the Father Joseph C. Martin Professional Excellence Award is now closed.

In September, the award will be presented at a special breakfast plenary during the NCAD Conference in Anaheim, California. The honoree will attend the conference as a guest of Father Martin's Ashley.
Anyone who has made significant professional contributions to the treatment, or understanding of, chemical addiction while supporting strong 12 Step recovery principles with personal passion, is eligible for nomination.
The NCAD conference draws more than 1,000 attendees and is the ideal venue for recognizing an addiction professional who has made a significant impact on the field, patients and families.
Nomination submittals for this award will be evaluated by a panel of leaders from the behavioral health field.
Previous award winners include Dr. Robert Ackerman, Jim Cusack, Terry Gorski, Gabriel Kajeckas, Earnie Larsen, Dr. Donald Kurth, James O'Hair, and Dr. Debra Reynolds.
The 2012 Father Joseph Martin Award for Professional Excellence was presented to James Cusack of Kerhonkson, NY for his pioneering contributions to the addictions field for over 50 years. The award was presented at a special awards breakfast at the National Conference on Addictive Disorders (NCAD) in Orlando, Florida on Sunday, September 30.
